ON ALTERNATIVE FUELS

Engine-generators are created on the basis of stationary and marine diesel engines of the type CHN25/34.

They provide stable operation using: combustible gases with variable calorific value from 1200 kcal/m3 and variable gas pressure on the supply line to the engine from 0.01 MPa (0.1 kgf/cm2), including:

 

  • biogas from biomass or from MSW landfills

  • producer gas obtained from carbon waste from industrial production

  • low-flow natural gas

  • associated petroleum gas

  • coal mine methane gas

  • ferroalloy, coke oven or blast furnace gases from steel plants

 

As well as flammable liquids obtained from industrial waste, fuels based on vegetable oils, other types of liquid fuels from biomass, including biodiesel, with a flash point of not lower than 60ºС, a relative viscosity of up to 30 cSt, and a sulfur content by mass of not more than 0.5%.

The DvGa-500 runs on biogas and other plant and biological residues.

We manufacture TDV "DIZELMASH - KGU" engine-generators automated by the 1st or 2nd degree of automation according to GOST 14228-80. At the 1st degree of automation, the following functions are performed:

 

  • automatic speed control

  • automatic temperature control in cooling and lubrication systems

  • automatic generator voltage regulation

  • automatic alarm and protection (stop) based on oil and coolant pressure, oil and water temperature

  • local and remote control of pre-start oil pumping, start, stop and speed

  • warning alarm about overload of the engine-generator

FIELD OF APPLICATION

Engine-generators as a source of electrical energy are used in all branches of industry, agriculture, housing and communal services and are designed for long-term continuous operation both in autonomous mode and in parallel operation with each other or with an industrial power grid of unlimited power.

To meet the need for greater electrical power, several engine-generators are used in different power combinations, which can operate in parallel with each other, depending on fluctuations in power consumption.

The use of alternative fuels in engine-generators allows replacing the use of traditional (fossil) fuels, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and providing a significant economic effect for the consumer during their operation.

Our gas engine-generators DvG1A-500, DvG1A-500-1, DvG1A-630, DvG1A-630-1 and cogeneration plants based on them with an electric capacity of 500 and 630 kW correspond to code 27.11.32-35.01 "Combined cycle gas piston machines with a capacity of 7.5 kV∙A with a fuel heat utilization factor of 83% and above" are included in the Industry Classifier of Energy-Saving Products, approved by the order of the National Energy Regulatory Commission of Ukraine dated 10.12.2010 No. 159 (since 2013 - by the order of the National Energy Regulatory Commission of Ukraine dated 21.06.2013 No. 79)
