TDV “DIZELMASH-KGU” is a specialized mechanical engineering company in Ukraine that manufactures medium-speed engines, engine-generator sets, and—based on them—cogeneration (CHP) units. The equipment output ranges from 315 to 900 kW, and in cogeneration mode it also delivers up to 1,200 kW of thermal output.
In parallel, the company produces related products, including various types of agricultural machinery, performs high-precision machining (including on CNC equipment), runs toolmaking operations, and covers several adjacent manufacturing areas.
The production facilities span 17.6 hectares, of which 7.2 hectares are buildings and structures. The manufacturing process involves 400+ units of equipment, including 250 machine tools, among them CNC machines.
TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES
The company has a full cycle of internal combustion engine manufacturing based on its own design and process developments. This enables the production of complex engine components—from the crankshaft, frame, and cylinder block to liners, connecting rods, pistons, cylinder heads, and gears. In total, the product range comprises about 10,000 items.
TYPES OF MACHINING
The plant performs blank preparation operations (shearing, gas and plasma cutting, bending, straightening, rolling of metal and pipes, as well as cutting of rolled stock of various profiles), welding (resistance, gas, and electric arc), a wide range of machining (turning, milling, planing, gear cutting, drilling, boring, broaching, grinding, honing), heat treatment (annealing, hardening, normalizing, tempering, carburizing), bench fitting and assembly, and testing of diesel and gas engine-generator sets.

OUR HISTORY
1875 – German entrepreneur Friedrich Heine founded workshops for the production of agricultural tools in the village of Holta, Kamyanomostivska volost, Ananiyivska county, Kherson province.
1877 – the enterprise was renamed the Iron Foundry and Mechanical Plant.
1920 – nationalized and renamed the October 25 Machine-Building Plant.
1927 – Production of the 24 hp "Meteor" oil engine began.
1934 – the production of gas engines of the VGCh26/38 type with a capacity of 55–75 hp was mastered.
1941–1944 – evacuation of the enterprise and resumption of production in the city of Balakovo, Saratov region.
1946 – launch of production of gas engines of the GCh18/26 type with a capacity of 45–90 hp.
1956 – the production of medium-speed marine diesel engines 6ЧРП 25/34 with a capacity of 300 hp and diesel generators with a capacity of 200 kW based on them was mastered.
1963 – the 6CHN25/34 marine diesel engine with gas turbine supercharging and a capacity of 450 hp was created.
1964 – the DGR300/500 marine diesel generator with a capacity of 300 kW was created.
1975–1992 – based on the ChN25/34 diesel engines, a unified series of ship and stationary diesel generators with a capacity of 315, 320, 400 and 500 kW was developed, as well as the main ship diesel 8ChNP25/34 with a capacity of 800 hp. By 1992, more than 14,500 diesel engines and diesel generators were produced, delivered to more than 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
1982 – the DGR800/750 marine diesel generator with a capacity of 800 kW and a 6CHN26/34 diesel engine was created.
1988 – a crankshaft production workshop with modern equipment was put into operation.
1992 – the DGR500/500 marine diesel generator with a capacity of 500 kW and a 6CHN25/34-10 diesel engine was developed.
1993 – in the process of privatization through corporatization, JSC “Pervomaiskdieselmash” was created on the basis of the 25th of October Machine-Building Plant.
1995 – a stationary gas-diesel generator GDGA-500 with a capacity of 500 kW and a 6GZhChN25/34 engine was developed.
2000–2010 – the production of new products was mastered: gas piston engines and cogeneration units operating on gaseous fuels (associated petroleum gas, mine methane, generator gas, metallurgical waste gases, etc.). The products found application in the oil and gas, coal and other industries of Ukraine, the CIS countries, Europe and Southeast Asia.
2002 – the company's quality management system was certified according to the ISO-9001 standard (Bureau Veritas Quality International).
2009–2012 – by order of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, a number of cogeneration biogas plants with increased cylinder capacity were created, equipped with an electronic system for automatic regulation of the gas-air mixture.
2010 – by the decision of the shareholders' meeting, JSC “Pervomaiskdieselmash” was reorganized into ODO “Pervomaiskdieselmash”.
2013–2014 – the production of crankshafts for D42 type engines and KM5 type compressors was mastered.
2015 – the production of ring-spur rollers of the KKSh type was mastered.
2016–2017 – the production of RBN rotary harrows, KRN chopper rollers, and KZK toothed ring rollers was mastered.
2018 – Production sites for the production of agricultural machinery were established. Deliveries of biogas and landfill gas-powered engine-generators to customers began.
