ODO "DIZELMASH - KGU" produces diesel and gas engines of the type CHN25/34 - four-stroke, six- and eight-cylinder, with a vertical single-row arrangement of cylinders, with gas turbine supercharging and cooling of the charge air. The design of the engines, based on moderate crankshaft rotations (500–600 rpm), ensures high reliability in operation.

 

The engines are mounted on a sub-engine frame, on which water and oil coolers, an oil filter, and a pump for pumping oil are mounted. The engines are supplied with auxiliary equipment that is installed separately in the engine room (water expansion tank, oil tank with centrifugal filter, starting cylinders, a compressor for pumping cylinders, a spark arrester muffler).

 

The engines are automated according to the 1st stage of GOST 14228-80 with the following functions:

 

• automatic speed control;

• automatic temperature control in cooling and lubrication systems;

• automatic alarm and protection for oil and water pressure, oil and water temperature;

• local and remote control of pre-start lubrication, start, stop and speed;

• engine overload warning alarm.

 

It is possible to supply units according to the Customer's technical specifications.
