RING-SPUR ROLLERS

Ring–spur rollers of the KKSh type are built on a single, well-proven design platform and are intended for:

  • pre-sowing rolling of soil to level the field surface

  • clod breaking

  • compaction of loosely settled, late-cultivated soil

  • rolling the soil to reduce moisture loss

  • post-sowing rolling to consolidate the topsoil

  • rolling green manure (cover crops) before plowing it under

  • snow rolling

The use of rollers improves uniformity of emergence, protects crops from wind erosion and bird damage, and enables yield increases of up to 30%.

A roller section consists of a welded frame and working elements. The articulated linkage of the sections and the ground-following mechanism ensure accurate contouring of the soil surface, while the arrangement of the working elements promotes self-cleaning.

The rollers feature triple protection of the bearing unit against dust ingress.
Steel and cast-iron working elements ensure reliable, long-life operation.

The rollers can be coupled with tractors of traction class 1.4.
